Keysight (Agilent) 973A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 973A Handheld Digital Multimeter

The HP 973A Multimeter has basic dc accuracy of 0.1 %,20 kHz true rms, ac + dc. and dB/dBm for ac. This meter has features and functions for maximum flexibility; you get a dual digital display, frequency current, capac itance, and thermocouple temperature as added features. Min/Max with time stamp to monitor all types of measurements including temperature, Hold and Auto Hold for saving a reading manually or automatically and average to quiet noisy measurements. Auto diode reverses the leads for you to check semiconductor junction. a secondary digital display shows the range of the function or elapsed time in Min/Max, and auto power off turns off the meter after 30 minutes of inactivity, or defeat it for extended measurements. Specifications. Display count: 4000. Basic accuracy DC volts: 0.1%. Basic accuracy AC volts: 0.7%. Basic accuracy ohms: 0.2%. Basic accuracy capacitance: 1.2%. Frequency response, AC volts: 20 kHz. DC volts Resolution/maximum reading: 10 µV / 1000 V. AC volts Resolution/maximum reading: 10 µV / 1000 V. Ohms Resolution/maximum reading: 0.1 ohm / 40 M-ohm. Current Resolution/maximum reading: 100 nA / 10 A. Elapsed Time Resolution/maximum reading: 1 min / 1999 min. Frequency Resolution/maximum reading: 0.01 Hz / 200 kHz. Crest Factor
Crest factor or peak-to-average ratio (PAR) is a measurement of a waveform, calculated from the peak amplitude of the waveform divided by the RMS value of the waveform

Linearity
Linearity is the relative difference between the displayed power ratio, Dx/D0, and the actual (true) power ratio Px/P0 caused by changing the displayed power level from the reference level, D0, to an arbitrary displayed level, Dx.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
