FLUKE DTX-1800 CableAnalyzer

The Fluke DTX-1800 CableAnalyzer is a testing platform that reduces total time to certify by improving every aspect of the testing process. It starts with 9-second Cat 6 Autotest. That means you can meet TIA-568-C and ISO 11801:2002 certification requirements and receive structured cabling warranties faster than ever before. With all this speed also comes the highest accuracy as the DTX is the only tester to use a standards-compliant, electrically-centered permanent link test adapter. Furthermore, the DTX-1800 truly delivers on the promise of a future-proofing investment by measuring 10 Gig cable performance and Alien Crosstalk (ANEXT and AFEXT) in full compliance with the industry standards to 500 MHz. The AC Wiremap feature validates for Power over Ethernet services in accordance with TIA/EIA standards, even if a Midspan power supply is used. With over 50,000 units in use today, the DTX CableAnalyzer Series, is clearly the industry's choice as the most trusted cable certifier. Specifications. Cable Types: Shielded and unshielded Twisted Pair (STP, FTP, SSTP and UTP) LAN cabling. Standard Link Interface Adapters: Cat 6A/Class EA permanent link adapters. Test Standards: TIA Category 3, 5e, 6 & 6A per ANSI/TIA-568-C.2; TIA Category 5 (1000BASE-T) per TIA TSB-95; TIA Category 6 per TIA/EIA-568B.2-1; TIA TSB-155; ISO TR 24750; ISO/IEC 11801 Class C, D, and E, EA & F(EA, F and FA); EN 50173 Class C, D, E, EA & F (EA, F and FA); ANSI TP-PMD; IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T; IEEE 802.3an 10GBASE-T. Averaging
Averaging is a mathematical process to reduce the variation in a measurement by summing the data points from multiple measurements and dividing by the number of points summed.

Fall Time
Fall time is the time required for the amplitude of a pulse to decrease (fall) from a specified value (usually 90 percent of the peak value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot) to another specified value (usually 10 percent of the maximum value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot).

Noise Density
Noise Density is the amount of noise within a defined bandwidth, usually normalized to 1 Hz.

Resolution Bandwidth (RBW)
Resolution Bandwidth (RBW) is the minimum bandwidth over which you can separate two signals and still see them.
