Randy Yousey Teams Up With Tim Mullen of DTS Racing

Tim Mullen, Randy Yousey & Marize Batista

?Custom-Cal CEO Randy Yousey, along with his son Max Yousey recently joined forces with Diamond Technical Services President Tim Mullen and Marize Batista (Marketing) as pit crew for a unique weekend of racing. ?Sports Car Club of America?PRO-IT group was a support race for the?Grand-Am Rolex Series held at the New Jersey Motor Sports Park in Millville, NJ Saturday and Sunday May 12 & 13,2012. Tim Mullen driving his VW Golf ?took third place in The PRO-IT – B Class. SCCA?races include many classes of cars within its Club ranks, mostly 4 cylinder. Very often, racers of different classes are together on the track. While this can be confusing for spectators, the drivers recognize others of their class. While there are no cash awards for the races, drivers win even better prizes- a sense of community and camaraderie that is often hard to find. Tim Mullen reports that teams will stay up all hours of the night to help fellow competitors with a car problem, so they can race against each other in the morning! Awesome stuff indeed! Congratulations on a ?great weekend of racing.
