INSTEK PSM-2010 8V 20A / 20V 10A Single Output Dual Range DC Power Supply

The GW Instek PSM-2010 is a Single output / dual range programmable linear DC power supply. OVP, OCP, OTP, and, output On/Off control protect the PSM-2010 and it's load from unexpected conditions. High resolution, high regulation, and low ripple are maintained at 1 mV/1 mA, 0.01%, and <350 Vrms, respectively. Operation and configuration is simplified with a digital interface and a clear LCD display. Standard features include store/recall output memories, automatic stepping with timers for continuous testing and self-testing, and software calibration features to reduce maintenance efforts. SCPI programming, LabVIEW drivers, RS-232C, and GPIB interfaces enable easy automated test system integration and remote control. Specifications. Output Low Range: 0 to 8 V / 20 A. Output High Range: 0 to 20 V / 10 A. Constant Voltage (CV) Operation Regulation + (% of output + offset): Load regulation <= 0.01% + 2 mV, Line regulation <= 0.01% + 2 mV. Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
