AEMC 3710 Clamp-On Ground Resistance Tester

The AEMC 3710 Ground Resistance Tester simply clamps around the ground conductor or rod and measure the resistance to ground. The probe’s high sensitivity enables measurement of leakage current flowing to ground or circulating in ground loops down to 1 mA and neutral currents to 30 Arms. This feature provides additional information which is becoming vital as distribution ground networks carry higher levels of noise and harmonics which affect power quality. Specifications. Ground Resistance Measurement Range: Autoranging 1.0 to 1200 ohm. Ground Resistance Resolution: 0.1 ohm (1.0 to 50.0 ohm), 0.5 ohm (50.0 to 100.0 ohm), 1 ohm (100 to 200 ohm), 5 ohm (200 to 400 ohm), 10 ohm (400 to 600 ohm), 50 ohm (600 to 1200 ohm). Ground Resistance Accuracy: ± (1.5% + 0.1 ohm) (1.0 to 50.0 ohm), ± (2.0% + 0.5 ohm) (50.0 to 100.0 ohm), ± (3.0% + 1 ohm) (100 to 200 ohm), ± (6.0% + 5 ohm)(200 to 400 ohm), ± (10% + 10 ohm) (400 to 600 ohm). Resistance Measurement Frequency: 1.689 kHz. Ground or Leakage Current: Autoranging 1 mA to 30.00 Arms. Current Measurement Frequency: 47 to 800 Hz. Current Overload: OL displayed above 30 Arms.

Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
