AEMC 4620 4-Point Ground Resistance Tester

The AEMC 4620 4-Point Ground Resistance Tester performs ground resistance and soil resistivity tests. This direct reading testers measures from 0 to 2000 ohm, and is auto-ranging, so it automatically seeks outs the optimum measurement range. The Model 4620 is rugged, easy-to-use and is ideal for maintenance crews performing numerous tests. It exceeds mechanical and safety specifications for shock, vibration and drop tests called out in IEC standards. It is designed to reject high levels of interference, so it can be used under difficult conditions such as high stray currents that normally affect accuracy. Applications; Three-Point measurements of resistance to ground of ground rods and grids. Four-Point tests or soil resistivity measurements. Touch potential measurements, an alternative to 3-Point tests in evaluating electrical safety. Specifications. Measurement Ranges: Auto-ranging 0 to 2000 ohm. Resistance Resolution: 10 m-ohm (20 ohm), 100 m-ohm (200 ohm), 1 ohm (2000 ohm). Resistance Accuracy: 2% of Reading ± 1ct (20, 200 ohm), 5% of Reading ± 3cts (2000 ohm). Operating Frequency: 128 Hz square wave. Response Time: Approximately four to eight seconds for a stabilized measurement. Withstanding Voltage: 250 Vac or 100 Vdc.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
