YOKOGAWA FG220-706112 2-Ch 15 MHz Synthesized Function Generator

The Yokogawa 706112 FG220 2-channel Synthesized Function Generator features versatile sweep and modulation functions. These instruments offer you the capability to sweep not only frequency, but also other parameters as well, such as phase, amplitude, offset voltage, or duty cycle, with linear, log, linear step and log step. You can even sweep frequency and amplitude at the same time. Specifications. Output channels: 2 channel. Output waveforms: Sine, Square (fixed 50% duty cycle), Triangle (variable symmetry) or Pulse (variable duty cycle). Output signal: Continuous output(CONT): Waveform output continuously, Switchable between phase-continuous and internal-channel synchronized output. Triggered output (TRIG): Output preset number (integer) of burst waveforms on trigger sync. Gated output (GATE): Output integer number of burst waveforms while enabled by gate. DC output (DC): Output DC voltage. Frequency range: Sine or Square waveform 1 uHz to 15 MHz, Triangle or Pulse waveform 1 uHz to 200 kHz. Resolution: 1 uHz or 9 digits max. Frequency accuracy: ±20 ppm. Frequency stability: ±20 ppm (at ambient temperature of 5 to 40°C). Reference clock: 40.2107 MHz. Maximum output voltage: ±10 V. Amplitude setting range: ±20 Vpp (setting resolution 1 mVpp) (negative amplitude represents inverted waveform). Amplitude accuracy V(1 kHz sine wave): ±(0.8% of setting + 14 mVrms). Offset voltage setting range: ±10 V (setting resolution 1 mV). Offset voltage accuracy: ±(0.3% of setting + 0.5% of amplitude setting +40 mV). Output impedance: 50 ohm ±1% (open when output OFF). DC output setting range: ±10 V (setting resolution 1mV). DC output accuracy: ±(0.3% of setting + 20 mV). Output attenuator setting range: 1/1, 1/10, 1/100. Output attenuator accuracy: 0.2%. Interchannel crosstalk: -65 dB max. Option. /R1, External sweep control.

dBc
dBc (decibels relative to the carrier) is the power ratio of a signal to a carrier signal, expressed in decibels. If the dBc figure is positive, then the relative signal strength is greater than the carrier signal strength. If the dBc figure is negative, then the relative signal strength is less than carrier signal strength.

Load Regulation
Load regulation is the capability to maintain a constant voltage (or current) level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes in the supply's load (such as a change in resistance value connected across the supply output).

Power Linearity
When changing the power level and measuring the differences (in dB) between actual and displayed power levels, the power linearity is ± half the span (in dB) between the maximum and the minimum value of all differences.

Settling Time
Settling time of an output device is the time elapsed from the application of an ideal instantaneous step input to the time at which the amplifier output has entered and remained within a specified error band, usually symmetrical about the final value.
