The Yokogawa DL7100-701410 SignalExplorer was designed to satisfy the key feature requirements for waveform measuring systems. These features are: Simple and accurate capturing of complex signals. High-speed extraction and screen display of desired information from large volumes of captured data. Specifications. DC to 500 MHz Bandwidth. Input channels: 4 analog (CH1 through CH4) and 16-bit digital (optional). Input impedance: 1 M-ohm ±1.0%, approx. 20 pF, 50 ohm ±1.0% (V SWR 1.4 or less (DC to 500 MHz)). Voltage-axis sensitivity setting: 1 M-ohm input : 2 mV/div to 10 V/div (1 - 2 - 5 steps), 50 ohm input : 2 mV/div to 1 V/div (1 - 2 - 5 steps). Time axis range: 1 ns/div to 50 s/div (record length is 10 k Words or more), 1 ns/div to 5 s/div (record length is 1 k Words). Time base precision: ±(0.005%). Maximum sample rate Realtime sampling mode: With interleave ON : 1 GS/s, With interleave OFF : 500 MS/s. Maximum record length: With interleave ON : 2 MWords/CH, With interleave OFF: 1 MWords/CH. Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
