The R&S FSQ3 20 Hz to 3.6 GHz Signal Analyzer offers very low phase noise, unsurpassed low residual EVM, a wide dynamic range and above-average accuracy, making it the ideal high-end measuring instrument for development applications, where tolerances and limit values must often be lower than defined in a standard. Specifications. Frequency range: 20 Hz to 3.6 GHz. RF Performance: DANL with preamplifier < -152 dBm (10Hz); SSB phase noise typ. - 133 dBc (1Hz) at 10 kHz offset, CF 640 MHz; Phase-noise typ. - 160 dBc/Hz @ 10 MHz offset, CF 640 MHz; TOI typ. ±25 dBm; 1-dB-compression point + 13 dBm; 3GPP ACLR 77 dB, 84 dB with noise correction; ACLR for 4-carrier scenario: 77 dB with noise correction. Linearity is the relative difference between the displayed power ratio, Dx/D0, and the actual (true) power ratio Px/P0 caused by changing the displayed power level from the reference level, D0, to an arbitrary displayed level, Dx.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
