The Rohde & Schwarz NRV-Z4 is a high-sensitivity power sensor based on zero-bias Schottky diodes, this opens up the power range below 1 µW down to the physical limit of 100 pW (-70 dBm). In the range, from -70 dBm to -20 dBm, it's behaviour is much the same as that of thermal sensors, i.e. precise measurement of the average power of modulated signals, RMS weighting of harmonics and linearity independent of temperature and frequency. Specifications. Frequency range: 100 kHz to 6 GHz. Power measurement range, max. power: 100 pW to 20 mW, 100 mW (AVG), 100 mW (PK). Max. SWR (reflection coefficient): 0.1 MHz to 100 MHz 1.05 (0.024), >1 GHz to 2 GHz 1.10 (0.048), >2 GHz to 4 GHz 1.20 (0.09), >4 GHz to 6 GHz 1.35 (0.15). Zero offset: ±50 pW. Display noise: 20 pW. Linearity uncertainty: 0.03 dB (0.7%). Power coefficient: 0. Connector: Type N, 50 ohm.
