NOYES OFL250-100 Handheld OTDR, OPM, LS and VFL

The NOYES OFL250-100 1310/1550 nm single-mode OTDR and Laser Source, Optical Power Meter and Visual Fault Locator. Ideal for installation and maintenance testing of access and metro area networks operating at 1310 and/or 1550 nm. With short dead zone and 26 dB dynamic range performance, the OFL250-100 is ideal for troubleshooting single-mode fibers in local access and metro area networks. The OFL250-100 provides automatic and manual setup, automatic event detection, 12-hour battery life, internal data storage and USB connectivity. OTDR/OLS, OPM and VFL test ports are equipped with tool-free adapters, which can be changed in seconds. OTDR Specifications. Emitter Type: Laser. Available Wavelengths: 1310/1550 nm. Polarization Dependent Loss (PDL)
Polarization Dependent Loss is the difference between the maximum and minimum values of loss due to the variation of the polarization states of light propagating through a device. PDL is expressed in decibels. Calculated by; PDL = 10 log10 (Ep/Es), where EP and ES are the measured diffraction efficiencies for P- and S-plane polarized incident light, respectively.

Return Loss (RL)
Return Loss (RL) is the ratio of the incident power to the reflected power expressed in dB. RL = 10log (Pin/Pback)

Wavelength Resolution
Wavelength Resolution is the smallest possible displayed wavelength increment/decrement.
