EXTECH INSTRUMENTS RPM10 Combination Tachometer + IR Thermometer

The Extech RPM10 Combination Tachometer + IR Thermometer features a built-in IR thermometer with laser measures remote surface temperature on motors and rotating parts. Fixed 0.95 emissivity, 6:1 distance to target ratio. Provides wide RPM (photo and contact) and Linear Surface Speed (contact) measurements. Large 0.4" (5 digit) LCD display. Contact tachometer for RPM and surface speed measurements. Specifications. Display counts: 99,999 count LCD. Range (rpm) Photo: 10 to 99,999. Range (rpm) Contact: 0.5 to 20,000. ft/min: 0.2 to 6560 (Contact). m/min: 0.05 to 1999.9 (Contact). Basic Accuracy: ±(0.05% rdg + 1 digit). Maximum rpm Resolution: 0.1 rpm. Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
