AEMC 5070 5000V Graphical Megohmmeter / Insulation Tester

The AEMC 5070 5000V Graphical Megohmmeter is a fully automated graphical insulation resistance tester. Insulation Tester features selectable and programmable test voltage (40 to 5100V), programmable temperature correction of resistance readings and offers both a graphical plot of the test on the instrument and as a digital representation of results.The AEMC 5070 has an RS232 port to configure and run tests from a PC. Includes DataView graphing and analysis software. Specifications. Test Voltage: 500V (30 kohm to 2000 Gohm), 1000V (100 kohm to 4000 Gohm), 2500V (100 kohm to 10,000 Gohm), 5000V (300 kohm to 10,000 Gohm). User Selectable Test Voltage Programmable: 40 to 1000V (10V increments), 1000 to 5100V (100V increments). Accuracy 1 kohm / 40 Gohm: 5% of Reading ± 3 cts. Accuracy 40 Gohm to 10 Tohm: 15% of Reading ± 10 cts. Voltage Test/Safety Check: 0 to 1000 Vac/dc. Voltage Warning Indicator: yes >25 V. Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
