INSTEK GPT-9801 5KV AC Withstanding Voltage Tester

The GW Instek GPT-9801 AC Withstanding Voltage Tester looks to meet a variety of safety standards such as IEC, EN, UL, CSA, GB, JIS and other safety-related requirements for the safety tests of electronic products and components. The GPT-9802 is capable of performing AC withstanding tests. It is equipped with a simple & clear panel layout, a high resolution dot matrix LCD display, and color LED indicators, allows operators to interpret measurement results easily and quickly. Specifications. AC Output-Voltage Range: 0.100kV to 5.000kV. AC Output-Voltage Resolution: 2V/step. AC Output-Voltage Accuracy: ± (1% of setting +5V) [no load]. Clipping
Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Line Regulation
Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
