BK PRECISION 5491B 4 3/4 Digit True RMS Bench Multimeter

The B&K Precision 5491B is a versatile and dependable 4 3/4 digit bench multimeter suitable for applications in education, service and repair, and manufacturing requiring basic and reliable measurements. Additionally, this instrument enhances your productivity with built-in math functions and USB connectivity, math operations include; Rel, Max/Min, dBm, dB, %, and Hold. The 5491B take typical multimeter measurements such as volts, ohms, and amps with great accuracy, stability, and basic VDC accuracy of 0.02%. This meter is also capable of measuring frequency, period, continuity, and performing diode tests. Readings can be taken at a maximum rate of 25 readings/sec with measurement rates selectable between slow, medium, and fast. Dual display to indicate two measurements simultaneously. Specifications. dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.
