ASSOCIATED RESEARCH 8204 5KVAC, 6KVDC OMNIA II Hipot / IR/ Ground Bond/ Continuity

The Associated Research 8204 OMNIA II provides AC Hipot, DC Hipot, Insulation Resistance and Ground Bond / Continuity tests in a single DUT connection. An optional built-in 8 port scanner is available on the 8204. The 8204 comes standard with an USB/RS-232 interface but is also available with optional Ethernet or GPIB. It features a color TFT display. Specifications. Dielectric Withstand Test Mode Output Rating: 5000 V @ 50 mA AC, 6000 V @ 20 mA DC. Voltage Setting Range: 0 - 5,000 V AC, 0 - 6,000 V DC. Voltage Setting Resolution: 1 V. Voltage Setting Accuracy: ± (2% of setting + 5 V). HI and LO-Limit AC Total Range: 0.000 - 9.999 mA, Resolution 0.001 mA. HI and LO-Limit DC Range: 0.0 - 999.9 µA, Resolution 0.1 µA. Arc Detection Range: 1 – 9. Ground Continuity Current: DC 0.1 A ± 0.01 A (Max. ground Resistance 1 ohm ± 0.1 ohm, fixed). AC Output Waveform: Sine Wave, Crest Factor = 1.3 - 1.5. Output Frequency Range: 50 or 60 Hz, User Selectable. Insulation Resistance Test Mode Voltage Setting Range: 30 - 1000 VDC, Resolution 1 Volt, Accuracy ± (2% of setting + 2 counts). Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
