   FLUKE LT544D (LT544Dlite)   Description / Specification:
FLUKE LT544D Digital Safety Tester

The Fluke LT544Dlite Digital Safety Tester is designed to perform simple electrical safety tests on any type of medical equipment, whenever patient lead testing is not required. The rugged, hand-held instrument is built for quick and easy use. A simple selector knob controls the functions: Leakage Current and Chassis Resistance. Accurate test measurements are shown on the large display. Heavy-duty switches change polarity, open and close the neutral and select Chassis or Earth Leakage Current measurements. A four-wire Kelvin bridge eliminates reading errors in resistance due to cable length and contact resistance. True RMS measurements are provided for all current readings. The AAMI test load is utilized. Specifications. Ground Resistance Range: 0 – 19.99 ohms. Ground Resistance Accuracy: ± 1% R, ± 1 LSD. Ground Resistance Resolution: 10 mOhms. Leakage Current Range: 0 - 1,999 µA. Leakage Current Accuracy: DC & 25 Hz - 1kHz (±1% of reading, ± 3LSD), 1.0KHz - 100 KHz (±2.5% of reading, ± 3LSD), 100 KHz - 1 MHz (±5% of reading, ± 3LSD). Current Capacity: 15Amps at 120 VAC (1515), 10 Amps at 230 VAC (230V), 20 Amps at 230 VAC 20% duty cycle (2 minutes on, 8 minutes off) (1520/2020).

Averaging
Averaging is a mathematical process to reduce the variation in a measurement by summing the data points from multiple measurements and dividing by the number of points summed.

Fall Time
Fall time is the time required for the amplitude of a pulse to decrease (fall) from a specified value (usually 90 percent of the peak value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot) to another specified value (usually 10 percent of the maximum value exclusive of overshoot or undershoot).

Noise Density
Noise Density is the amount of noise within a defined bandwidth, usually normalized to 1 Hz.

Resolution Bandwidth (RBW)
Resolution Bandwidth (RBW) is the minimum bandwidth over which you can separate two signals and still see them.
