The ILX OMH-6727B InGaAs Power/ Wavehead provides the flexibility to easily and accurately measure the optical power and wavelength of laser sources in the near infrared spectrum. These products incorporate ILX’s unique integrating sphere-based power and wavelength measurement capability. The OMH-6727B allows free-space power and wavelength measurement from 950 to 1650nm, up to 1W.

Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG)
A fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is a type of distributed Bragg reflector constructed in a short segment of optical fiber that reflects particular wavelengths of light and transmits all others. This is achieved by adding a periodic variation to the refractive index of the fiber core, which generates a wavelength specific dielectric mirror.
