CHROMA 63103   Description / Specification:   Spec Sheet
CHROMA 63103 60A 80V 300W Programmable Electronic Load

The Chroma 63103 80V 60A Programmable Electronic Load integrates microprocessing capability into each load module and mainframe as the system operates in parallel processing mode to optimize the speed and control among multiple load modules. It is configured to work synchronously, and testing can be carried out simultaneously at multiple output to simulate real life application. The 63103 load module operates in constant current, constant resistance, or constant voltage to satisfy a wide range of test requirements. It uses photo coupler for isolation between the output and control sections, thus each load is isolated and floating. The user can use multiple load modules independently to test multi-output power supplies, or parallel them in high power testing application. Specifications. Power: 300 W. Current: 0 to 60 A. Voltage: 1 to 80 V. Min. Operation Voltage (DC): 1.0 V at 60 A. Constant Current Mode (CCM) Range: 0~60A. CCM Resolution: 15 mA. CCM Accuracy: 0.1% + 0.2% F.S. Constant Resistance Mode (CRM) Range: 0.025 ohm~100 ohm (300W/16V), 1.25 ohm~5 kohm (300W/80V). CRM Resolution: 12 bits. CRM Accuracy: 0.1 ohm + 0.2% (100 ohm), 0.01 ohm + 0.1% (5 kohm). Constant Voltage Mode (CVM) Range: 1~80V. CVM Resolution: 20 mV. CVM Accuracy: 0.05% ± 0.1% F.S.

Standard Calibration $285.00 *
*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the CHROMA 63103. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Clipping
Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Line Regulation
Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.

RMS
RMS or root mean square is a statistical measure of the magnitude of a varying quantity
