INSTEK GPI-825 5KV 500 VA AC Withstanding Voltage / Insulation Tester

The GW Instek GPI-825 Safety Tester offers an economical solution for the most frequently used electrical safety requirement, the AC withstanding test. It provides a reliable and accurate test environment for the operator through a number of safety-oriented features such as a zero turn-on switch, remote control functions, and a PASS/FAIL signal output. The GPI-825 includes Insulation Resistance testing. Specifications. AC Output Voltage: 0.2 kV to 5 kV. AC V Regulation: 15%. AC V Accuracy: ±(3% rdg 3counts). AC Trip Current: 0.3 to 100 mA. AC Current Accuracy: ±(5% rdg +2 counts). IR Output Voltage: DC 500V / 1000V. IR Resistance: 1 to 2000 M-ohm. Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
