DESCO 19228 Multi-Mount Continuous Monitor

The Desco 19228 Multi-Mount Continuous Monitor continuously monitors the integrity of one operator. This monitor will provide virtually instantaneous notification of static control equipment failures, eliminating the need of periodic testing and costly record keeping. The Multi-Mount Continuous Monitor is a real time instrument that ensures that critical ESD generators in a sensitive area are effectively grounded. The instant an operator’s wrist strap or cord fails, the monitor will issue audible and visual (LEDs) alarms alerting the user and supervisor of the problem. Specifications. Test range of monitored circuit: 500 K - 10 M ohms. Operating Voltage: 24 VAC, 50/60 Hz. Worksurface Range: 10 megohms. Wrist strap open circuit voltage: 1.2 volts peak to peak @ 1-2 MicroAmps. Mat test open circuit voltage: 5 to 7.5 volts. Response time to alarm: <50 ms.

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the DESCO 19228. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Clipping
Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Line Regulation
Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.

RMS
RMS or root mean square is a statistical measure of the magnitude of a varying quantity
