TRANSMILLE EA002 Clamp Coil Adapter

The Transmille EA002 Clamp Coil Adapter is designed for the calibration of both wound (AC only) & Magnetic field (hall effect) AC/DC clamp meters the current coil offers several unique features built in a robust construction. The coil is designed to immerse both jaws of the clamp meter in the magnetic field while allowing the ‘gap’ or opening where magnetic flux will escape to protrude through the coil and stay out of the strongest part of the field. This makes the reading less dependent on the position of the clamp within the coil and also the quality of the jaw closing, allowing greater confidence in the calibration.

Standard Calibration $865.00 *
*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the TRANSMILLE EA002. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
