   KEYSIGHT N8482A   Description / Specification:
KEYSIGHT N8482A 6 GHz Thermocouple Power Sensor

The Keysight N8482A Thermocouple Power Sensor is the replacement solution for 8480 Series Power Sensors. The new power sensor is integrated with EEPROM feature, which allows users to calibrate the power sensors without manually entering the calibration factors to the power meter. By comparing to legacy 8480 Series Power Sensors, there are tremendous improvements such as wider dynamic range and frequency range, better accuracy, linearity, repeatability, and SWR.
Specifications.

Frequency range: 100 kHz to 6 GHz.
Dynamic power range: -35 to +20 dBm.
Damage level (average power): +25 dBm.
Damage level (peak power): 15 W/2 µs.
Maximum SWR 25 °C ± 10 °C:
  1.54 (100 to 300 kHz),
  1.17 (300 kHz to 1 MHz),
  1.06 (1 MHz to 2 GHz),
  1.07 (2 to 6 GHz).

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the KEYSIGHT N8482A. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Noise Figure
Noise Figure the ratio of the signal-to-noise power ratio at the input to the signal-to-noise power ratio at the output.

Standing Wave Ratio (SWR)
Standing wave ratio (SWR) is the ratio of the amplitude of a partial standing wave at an antinode (maximum) to the amplitude at an adjacent node (minimum).
