   FLUKE I2000   Description / Specification:
FLUKE I2000 2000 Amp AC Current Probe

The Fluke i2000 is an AC current probe utilizing the Rogowski principle. It can be used to measure currents up to 2000 A when used in conjunction with multimeters, recorders or data loggers. It has three ranges: 20A, 200 A & 2000 A, 100 mV/A, 10 mV/A & 1 mV/A output. The flexible and lightweight measuring head allows quick and easy installation in hard to reach areas, and is ideal for current measurement on thick and hard to reach conductors without breaking the circuit. The i2000 features a CAT III 600 V safety rating.
Specifications.

Maximum conductor diameter: 178 mm.
Current ranges: 20 A, 200 A, 2000 A, AC rms.
Output sensitivity (AC-coupled): 1 mV, 10 mV, 100 mV, 1 mV per A.
Load impedance: 100 kΩ minimum.
Accuracy (at +25°C): ±1% of range (45 Hz to 65 Hz).
Linearity (10% to 100% of range): ±0.2% of reading.
Noise: 8 mV AC rms (30 A) ; 2 mV AC rms (300 A, 3000 A).
Frequency range: 10 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB).
Phase error: < ±1° (45 Hz to 65 Hz) ; ±10° (at 20 kHz).
Position sensitivity (with cable > 25 mm from the coupling): From 1% up to 3% of range with cable, depending on distance from the center (see figure left). Measurements closer than 25 mm from the coupling are typically greater than 3% of range.
External wire influence: 1% (-40 db) of external current >200 mm from head.
External field: (with cable > 200 mm from the head) ±1% of range.
Temperature Coefficient: ±0.08% of reading per °C.
Working voltage: 600 V AC rms or DC.

Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

dBc
dBc (decibels relative to the carrier) is the power ratio of a signal to a carrier signal, expressed in decibels. If the dBc figure is positive, then the relative signal strength is greater than the carrier signal strength. If the dBc figure is negative, then the relative signal strength is less than carrier signal strength.

Load Regulation
Load regulation is the capability to maintain a constant voltage (or current) level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes in the supply's load (such as a change in resistance value connected across the supply output).

Power Linearity
When changing the power level and measuring the differences (in dB) between actual and displayed power levels, the power linearity is ± half the span (in dB) between the maximum and the minimum value of all differences.

Settling Time
Settling time of an output device is the time elapsed from the application of an ideal instantaneous step input to the time at which the amplifier output has entered and remained within a specified error band, usually symmetrical about the final value.
