BK PRECISION 388B Manual Ranging DMM with Transistor Test

The B&K Precision 388B Handheld Digital Multimeter measures voltage and current, the meter also measures frequency, capacitance and Logic Test, and includes component and diode test. It has a 4000 count LCD display and 0.5% basic DCV accuracy. Specifications. DC Volts Ranges: 400 mv, 4 V, 40 V, 400 V, 1000 V. AC Ranges: 400 mv, 4 V, 40 V, 400 V, 750 V. DC Current Ranges: 400 mA, 4 mA, 40 mA, 400 mA, 2 A, 20 A. AC Current Ranges: 400 mA, 4 mA, 40 mA, 400 mA, 2 A, 20 A. Resistance Ranges: 400 ohm, 4 k-ohm, 40 k-ohm, 400 k-ohm, 4 M-ohm, 40 M-ohm. Linearity is the relative difference between the displayed power ratio, Dx/D0, and the actual (true) power ratio Px/P0 caused by changing the displayed power level from the reference level, D0, to an arbitrary displayed level, Dx.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
