BK PRECISION 4010A 2 MHz Function Generator

The B&K Precision 4010A 2 MHz Function Generator features Sine, Square, Triangle, Pulse & Ramp output, Variable duty cycle and Variable DC offset. Specifications. Frequency Range: 0.2 Hz to 2 MHz in 7 ranges. Waveforms: Sine, Square, Triangle, ±Pulse, ±Ramp. Dial Accuracy: ±5% typical. Variable Duty Cycle: 15:85:15 cont variable. Output Impedance: 50 ohm ±10%. Level: 20 V p-p Open circuit, 10V p-p into 50O. Amplitude: Variable, 20 dB range typical. Attenuation: -20 dB ±1dB. DC Offset: Preset ±0.1 V typ, Variable; ±10V open-circuit ±5 into 50 ohm. Distortion: <= 4% @ 1 kHz. Flatness: = 5% (0.45 dB). Risetime (Into 50 ohms): <=120 nS. TTL Output Level: 0.8V to 2.4V. Rise time (0.8V to 2.9V): <= 50 nS. CMOS Output Max. Frequency: 2 MHz. Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
