   FLUKE 12   Description / Specification:
FLUKE 12 Handheld Digital Multimeter

The Fluke 12 Digital Multimeter is designed to support first level electrical and electronic troubleshooting. Their compact design, slide-switch and pushbutton controls allow true one-hand operation. V Chek simplifies safe power source and supply measurement. When measuring ohms/continuity with more than 4.5 volts present across the input jacks (intentional or not), the meter automatically switches to measuring ac or dc volts, whichever is greater. Input impedance is approximately 2 k-ohm, helping determine if voltage is from leakage or a hard connection. Overload protection is provided if the circuit is checked in ohms mode. Continuity Capture locates intermittent opens and shorts as brief as 250 us, and identifies them in a symbolic display. Min/Max recording with relative time clock, records highest and lowest voltage readings during a 100-hour period. Features. 4000 Count Digital Display. Diode Test. Fast Continuity Beeper. Sleep Mode. Specifications. VDC Range: 4.000 to 600 V. VDC Best Accuracy: ±(0.9% + 1). VDC Resolution: 1 mV. VAC Range: 4.000 to 600 V. VAC Best Accuracy: ±(1.9% + 3). VAC Resolution: 1 mV. Resistance Range: 400 ohm to 40 M-ohm. Resistance Best Accuracy: ±(0.9% + 1). Resistance Resolution: 0.1 ohm. Capacitance Range: 1.000 to 10,000 uF. Capacitance Best Accuracy: ±(1.9% + 2). Capacitance Resolution: 0.001 uF.

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the FLUKE 12. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
