   FLUKE 77   Description / Specification:
FLUKE 77 Handheld Analog / Digital Multimeter

The Fluke 77 Handheld Multimeter provides a 3200 count digital display that gives extended resolution, and a 31 segment bar graph that reacts 10 times faster than the numerical display, allowing you to make peaking and dipping adjustments easier. With autoranging, you choose the function you want and the meter automatically selects the range with the greatest accuracy and resolution. A continuous audible tone provides a fast check for continuity of current paths having 150 ohms or less. A brief tone indicates a voltage drop of about 0.6 volts, the normal forward bias for semiconductor devices passing about 500 microamps.

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the FLUKE 77. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
