   FLUKE 8062A   Description / Specification:
FLUKE 8062A 4 1/2 Digit TRMS Digital Multimeter

The Fluke 8062A 4 1/2-digit DMM offers more measurement capabilities than many bench/portable models. Well suited for engineers and technicians working in audio, video, telecommunications, or computer technology, both meters combine precision and accuracy with a wealth of features to fit nearly every application. True-rms ac voltage and current measurement. Fast audible-visual continuity tests. Relative Reference (offset). When measuring ohms with the 8062A the relative reference function displays only the difference between a stored reference value and a measured value, even if the range was changed between readings. Relative mode works in all functions and ranges. Specifications. VDC Range: 200 mV - 1000 V. VDC Best Accuracy: ±(0.05% + 2). VDC Resolution: 10 uV. VAC (True-RMS, AC Coupled) Range: 200 mV - 1000 V. VAC Best Accuracy: ±(0.5% + 10). VDC Resolution: 10 uV. ADC Range: 200 uA - 2000 mA. ADC Best Accuracy: ±(0.3% + 2). ADC Resolution: 0.01 uA. AAC (True-RMS) Range: 200 uA - 2000 mA. AAC Best Accuracy: ±(0.75% + 10). AAC Resolution: 0.01 uA. Resistance Range: 200 ohm - 300 M-ohm. Resistance Best Accuracy: ±(0.1% + 2). Resistance Resolution: 0.01 ohm.

Available Gain
Available Gain is the ratio, at a specific frequency, of power available from the output to the power in from the source.

Decibel (dB)
A unit of measurement of power which indicates relative power. A -10 dB means a reduction in power by 10 times, -20 dB means another 10 times or 100 times overall, -30 means another 10 times or 1000 times overall and so on.

Mismatch Uncertainty
Mismatch Uncertainty is caused by re-reflections between one device (the source) and the device that follows it (the load).

Pulse Power
Pulse Power, the energy transfer rate is averaged over the pulse width. Pulse width is considered to be the time between the 50 percent risetime/falltime amplitude points. Pulse power averages out any aberrations in the pulse envelope such as overshoot or ringing.
