Carrier Wave (CW)
Carrier Wave or Continuous Wave is a sinusoidal signal without modulation.

Harmonic
A harmonic of a wave is a component frequency of the signal that is an integer multiple of the fundamental frequency, i.e. if the fundamental frequency is f, the harmonics have frequencies 2f, 3f, 4f, . . . etc.

Noise Floor
Noise floor is the measure of the signal created from the sum of all the noise sources and unwanted signals within a measurement system.

Ripple
Ripple is the small unwanted residual periodic variation of the direct current (dc) output
