Keysight (Agilent) 8722D Vector Network Analyzer

The HP 8722D vector network analyzers offer builtin source, receiver, and solid-state switching S-parameter test set covering frequencies from 50 MHz to 40 GHz. They have a fast source that is fully synthesized, in both swept or stepped modes, with stability and accuracy within 10 ppm (typical). Frequency resolution is 1 Hz standard for accurate measurements of narrowband or long-delay devices. The tuned receivers with variable bandwidth IF filters provide up to 105 dB of dynamic range. A solid-state switching test set provides continuous updating of all four S-parameters as required for two-port error correction. Frequency Range: 50 MHz to 40 GHz. Frequency Resolution: 1 Hz. Frequency Accuracy: 10 ppm. Maximum Source Power: -5 dBm, < 20 GHz; -10 dBm, 20 to 40 GHz (std), 0 dBm, < 20 GHz; -5 dBm, 20 to 40 GHz (Option 007). Minimum Source Power: -75 dBm (std), -70 dBm (Option 007). Power Resolution: 0.01 dB. Power Flatness: ± 2 dB. Power Sweep Range: 15 dB. System Dynamic Range (>2 GHz): 82 to 93 dB, 86 to 98 dB (Option 007). Test Port Connector 2.4 mm. Options: 007, Mechanical Transfer Switch. 010, Time Domain Capability. 012, Direct Sampler Access. 085, High-Power Test Set. 089, Frequency Offset Mode. 1D5, High-Stability Frequency Reference. 400, Four-Sampler Test Set.

*This is a Web introductory price for one calibration of the Keysight (Agilent) 8722D. Price does not in most cases include measurement performance data. Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Clipping
Clipping is the limiting of a signal so that it never exceeds some threshold.

Modulation
Modulation is the coding of information onto the carrier frequency. This includes amplitude, frequency, or phase modulation techniques.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the smallest signal that can reliably detected. Sensitivity specifies the strength of the smallest signal at the input that causes the output signal power to be M times the output noise power where M must be specified. M=1 is very popular
