The Agilent 86030A Lightwave Component Analyzerr allows the user to measure all the optical and microwave components of a high-speed fiber optics transmission system, The analyzer allows electrical-electrical, electrical-optical. optical-electrical, and optical to optical measurements to be made in both transrnission and reflection modes. System contains, HP 8510C Network Analyzer, 8517B Test Set, 83651A Synthesized Sweeper and an 86032A Lightwave Test Set. Modulation frequency range: 0.045 to 50 GHz. Optical source center wavelength: 1550 to 1560 nm. Optical output return loss: > 30 dB. Optical input return loss: > 25 dB. Average optical output power (modulator set to minimum insertion loss): > 3 dBm. Average optical output power (modulator set at quadrature): > 0 dBm.
