Keysight (Agilent) U8002A Single Output, Non-programmable DC Power Supply

The Agilent U8002A is a Single Output, Non-programmable DC Power Supply extends the functionality of non-programmable power supplies with features typically found only in programmable models. It is suitable for a variety of electronics manufacturing applications. Output ratings: 0 to +30 V, 0 to 5 A. Line and load regulation CV: < 0.01% +2 mV. Line and load regulation CC: < 0.02% +2 mA. Ripple and noise (25 °C ±5 °C) CV: 12 mVp-p, < 1 mVrms, CC: 3 mArms. Load transient response time (within 15 mV from full load to half load and from half load to full load): < 50 µs. Programming accuracy (25 °C ±5 °C): < 0.35% +20 mV, < 0.35% +20 mA. Readback accuracy (25 °C ±5 °C): < 0.35% +20 mV, < 0.35% +20 mA. Meter resolution: Voltage: 10 mV, Current: 10 mA.

Line regulation is the capability to maintain a constant output voltage level on the output channel of a power supply despite changes to the input voltage level.

Peak Envelope Power
Peak envelope power is the maximum value of the envelope power. Envelope power is measured by making the averaging time much less than 1/fm where fm is the maximum frequency component of the modulation waveform. The averaging time is therefore limited on both ends: (1) it must be small compared to the period of the highest modulation frequency, and (2) it must be large enough to be many RF cycles long.
