Keysight (Agilent) N2781B   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) N2781B 10 MHz/150A AC/DC Current Probe

The Agilent N2781B AC/DC Current Probe is compatible with any oscilloscope with high impedance BNC input, the new N2781B current probe offers accurate and reliable solution for measuring ac and dc currents. It features broad measurement ranges (up to 150 A), flat frequency response, low noise and low insertion loss that make the probes ideal for current measurements in areas such as measuring steady state or transient current of motor drives, switching power supplies, inverters, controllers, sensors, disk drives, LCD displays, electronic ballasts and amplifiers. Specifications. Bandwidth (-3dB): DC to 10 MHz. Risetime: 35 ns or less. Maximum current (continuous) RMS: 150A. Maximum peak current (non-continuous): 300 A peak. Lowest measurable current (at ±3% accuracy at DC, scope set to 1 mV/div and high-resolutionmode on): 20 mA. Output voltage rate: 0.01 V/A (100:1). Max input voltage (Insulated conductor should be used): 600 V CAT II, 300 V CAT III. Amplitude accuracy (DC and 45 to 66 Hz, rated current): ±1.0% rdg. ± 100 mA. Noise (measured with 20 MHz bandwidth limit filter on the scope): Equivalent to 25 mArms or less. Maximum rated power: 5.5 VA (with rated current).

Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
