Keysight (Agilent) 34405A 5 1/2 Digit Digital Multimeter

The Agilent 34405A 5.5 Digit Dual Display, Benchtop DMM provides a broad range of features and measurement functions such as DC voltage, DC current, true-RMS AC voltage and AC current, 2-wire resistance, frequency, diode test and continuity which are designed to meet general industrial needs. Furthermore, it can measure temperature ranging from -80C to 150C. The true value is more evident with its capability to measure capacitance ranging from 1000 pF to 10000 mF. The Agilent 34405A also improves efficiency and accuracy with its 6 built-in math operations: Null, dBm, dB, MinMax, Limit and Hold. It can take up to 19 readings/sec at 4.5 digits resolution directly to the PC. Performance Features are. DC Voltage, 5 ranges: 100.000 mV to 1000.00 V. Resistance, 7 ranges: 100.000 ohm to 100.000 M-ohm. DC Current, 4 ranges: 10.0000 mA to 10.0000 A. Continuity: 1000 ohm, 0.83 mA. Diode Test: 1.0000 V, 0.83 mA. True-RMS AC Volts, ranges: 100.000 mV, 1.00000 V to 750.00 V. True-RMS AC Current, ranges: 100.000 mA to 10.0000 A. Frequency Range: 300 kHz. Temperature: -80 °C to 150 °C, - 110.0 °F to 300.0 °F. Capacitance, 6 ranges: 1.000 nF to 10.000 µF.

Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
