Keysight (Agilent) 5334B Universal Electronic Counter

The Hp 5334B is a Universal Electronic Counter that has a logically laid-out front panel with a simple push-button design that makes it one of the easiest counters to use. Its capabilities make it one of the most usable counters available. High performance starts with two matched 100MHz input channels and displays with 9 digits per second resolution. You'll find the features and abilities of this counter are endless- with the push of a button, automatic rise/fall time, pulse width and AC/DC voltage measurements, auto triggering and auto attenuation, as well as frequency and period measurements, time interval and time interval delay, external arming/gating for synchronizing measurements to external events, plus much more! Of course, all of this power is available via the front panel or automated using the built-in HP-IB interface. Other great features include the ability that enables the operator to store & recall up to 10 front-panel setups. The 5334B has a range of 0.001 Hz to 100 MHz,A/B Channel, C-Channel measures 90 MHz to 1.3 GHz, 2 ns Time Interval, 35 mV sensitivity, Automatic rise/fall time, pulse width and ac/dc voltage measurements, 9 digit display.

Crest Factor
Crest factor or peak-to-average ratio (PAR) is a measurement of a waveform, calculated from the peak amplitude of the waveform divided by the RMS value of the waveform

Linearity
Linearity is the relative difference between the displayed power ratio, Dx/D0, and the actual (true) power ratio Px/P0 caused by changing the displayed power level from the reference level, D0, to an arbitrary displayed level, Dx.

Phase Noise
Phase noise is the frequency domain representation of rapid, short-term, random fluctuations in the phase of a waveform, caused by time domain instabilities. Phase noise (L(f)) is typically expressed in units of dBc/Hz, representing the noise power relative to the carrier contained in a 1 Hz bandwidth centered at a certain offsets from the carrier.

Sensitivity
Sensitivity is the minimum magnitude of input signal required to produce a specified output signal having a specified signal-to-noise ratio, or other specified criteria.
