Keysight (Agilent) 54510A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 54510A 2 Ch 250 MHz Digitizing Oscilloscope

The HP 54510A is a 250 MHz, 1 GSa/s sample rate, 2-channel digitizing oscilloscope with 8 bit A/Os designed for both repetitive and single-shot signals. The HP 54510A boosts single-shot performance to 250 MHz by introducing the first 1 Gigasample-per-second portable oscilloscope.. Like other members of the HP 54500 family, the HP 54510A has all of the digitizing advantages of oscilloscopes that are much higher in price. Its high repetitive / single-shot bandwidth, ease of use, HP-IB programmability, and HP 54500 family general-purpose features make it a powerful tool for both manual and automated test applications. Specifications. Bandwidth: dc to 250 MHz (-3 dB), (300 MHz repetitive mode typical). Rise time: 1.4 ns. Number of channels: 2 (simultaneous). Vertical sensitivity range: 1 mV/div to 5 V/div. Vertical gain Accuracy: ± 1.25% of full scale. Vertical resolution: 8 bits over eight divisions (± 0.4%), 10 bits wl averaging (± 01 %). Maximum sample rate: 1 GSa/s. Waveform record length: 8001 points (real-time), 501 points (repetitive). Maximum input voltage: 1 M-ohm: ± 250 V [dc + peak ac < 10 kHz)], 50 ohm: 5 V rms. Time base range: 1 ns/dlV to 5 s/div. Maximum time base resolution: 20 ps.

Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
