Keysight (Agilent) 6433B   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 6433B 35V 10A Single Output DC Power Supply

The HP 6433B is a regulated dc power supply utilizing all-silicon circuitry. Silicon-controlled rectifiers in series with the transformer primary, and controlled by the output voltage and current settings, accomplish the desired regulation using Harrison’s unique “Ramp-Lock” phase control circuit. This circuit technique permits a reduction in the overall size and weight of the power supply and results in up to 75% efficiency at full output. This SCR regulated power supply also features lower output ripple, tighter load and line regulation, and Constant Voltage/Constant Current operation with automatic crossover. Specifications. DC output: 0-35VDC / 0-10A. Line regulation, for a 10% change in the nominal: 18 mV (Constant voltage), 100 mA (Constant current),. Constant current load regulation: for a change in output voltage from no load to full load or full load to no load. 100 mA. Fu!l Scale meter readings, meters have 2% accuracy (meter has calibrating potentiometer): 40 V & 12 A. Transient recovery time, less than 200 ms for output recovery to within "A" mV; transient amplitude less than "B" volts/amp for any load change between 20% and 100% of rated output current: A = 200, B = 0.5. Ripple and noise: 36 mV rms maximum.

Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

Channel Bandwidth
Channel Bandwidth is the bandwidth over which power is measured. This is usually the bandwidth in which almost all of the power of a signal is contained.

Jitter
Jitter in technical terms is the deviation in or displacement of some aspect of the pulses in a high-frequency digital signal. Jitter is the time variation of a periodic signal in electronics and telecommunications, often in relation to a reference clock source. Jitter may be observed in characteristics such as the frequency of successive pulses, the signal amplitude, or phase of periodic signals. Jitter is a significant, and usually undesired, factor in the design of almost all communications links (e.g., USB, PCI-e, SATA, OC-48). In clock recovery applications it is called timing jitter.

Overshoot
Overshoot is the distortion that follows a major transition; the difference between the peak power point and the pulse-top amplitude computed as a percentage of the pulse-top amplitude.

Rise Time
Rise time refers to the time required for a signal to change from a specified low value to a specified high value, usually 10 and 90 percent of pulse-top amplitude (vertical display is linear power).
