Keysight (Agilent) 70900B   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) 70900B Local Oscillator, MMS

The HP 70900B is the master control module, 2/8-width module for 70000 Modular Measurement System (MMS) spectrum analyzers. It is also a component of the lightwave signal analyzers. It can control the following slave modules: HP 70902A and 70903A IF sections; HP 70904A, 70905A1B, 70906A1B, 70908A sections; HP 70907A and 70907B external mixer interface module; HP 70300A and 70301A traclring generators; HP 70620A, 70620B and 70621A preamplifiers; HP 70700A high speed digitizer; and HP 70310A precision frequency reference and HP 70810B lightwave section. The HP 70900B LO has two main functions in the HP 70000 spectrum analyzers: as the synthesized local oscillator (LO) and as the master control module for the system. As a spectrum analyzer local oscillator, it affects phase noise, stability, and frequency accuracy. The HP 70900B is the reason that the analyzer has excellent phase noise performance of -108 dBdHz at 10 kHz offset from the carrier. 300 MHz calibrator output, BNC (f), 50 ohm (nominal), Output power: -10 dBm ± 0.3 dB, Frequency accuracy: 300 MHz x frequency reference accuracy. Sweep output/lnput: SMB (m), rear panel, 0-10 V for sweep >= 50 ms, Accuracy: 2%. Tune + span output: SMB (m). rear panel. 4.5-9.9 V (1 .5 V/GHz).

Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Noise Figure
Noise Figure the ratio of the signal-to-noise power ratio at the input to the signal-to-noise power ratio at the output.

Standing Wave Ratio (SWR)
Standing wave ratio (SWR) is the ratio of the amplitude of a partial standing wave at an antinode (maximum) to the amplitude at an adjacent node (minimum).
