Keysight (Agilent) E3615A Single-output CV/CC DC Power Supply

The Agilent E3615A Single-output CV/CC DC power supply can be used as either a voltage source or current source. The CC-set button allows you to quickly set the current limit when operating in the CV mode, without shorting the output. 10-turn controls allow accurate adjustment of voltage and current output settings. The output voltage and current can also be controlled with external 0 to 10 volt analog signals or variable resistance. Output connections can be made on either the front or rear panel. Remote sensing is available to eliminate the errors in voltage regulation due to voltage drops in the load leads. Either the positive or negative output terminal may be connected to ground to provide positive or negative output voltage. Either terminal can also be floated to a maximum of 240 volts. Multiple units can be combined in auto-parallel, autoseries and auto-tracking configurations to obtain more voltage or current output. The load is protected with the over-voltage protection feature, which is easily monitored and adjusted from the front panel. The digital voltage and current meters provide continuous and accurate readings of the output levels. Output Range: 0 to 20 V, 0 to 3 A (60 W). Load and line regulation: 0.01% +2 mV. Ripple and noise: rms 200 µV, peak-to-peak 1 mV. Resolution Voltage: 10 mV (0-20 V), 100 mV (20 V). Resolution Current: 10 mA.

dBm
dBm (sometimes dBmW) is an abbreviation for the power ratio in decibels (dB) of the measured power referenced to one milliwatt (mW). Zero dBm equals one milliwatt. A 3 dB increase represents roughly doubling the power, a 3 dB decrease, the power is reduced by about one half.

Millimeter-wave
Millimeter-wave is a term that generally refers to frequencies of 26.5 GHz and above. That is where signal wavelengths fall below approximately 10 mm, and thus the terminology changes from centimeters to millimeters.

Power Repeatability
Power Repeatability is the random uncertainty in reproducing the power level after changing and re-setting the power level. The power repeatability is ± half the span (in dB) between the highest and lowest actual power. Note: - The long-term power repeatability can be obtained by taken the power repeatability and power stability into account.

Stability
Stability is the extent to which a specified property, characteristic, or parameter of a substance, device, or apparatus, remains fixed with the passage of time or with varying environmental conditions.
