Keysight (Agilent) E9301A   Description / Specification:
Keysight (Agilent) E9301A 6 GHz Average Power Sensor

The Agilent E9301A E- Series power sensor is a true average, wide dynamic range RF microwave power sensor. It is based on a dual sensor diode pair/attenuator/diode pair proposed by Szente et. al. in 1990. This technique ensures the diodes in the selected signal path are kept in their square law region, thus the output current (and voltage) is proportional to the input power. This sensor measures average RF power on a wide variety of modulated signals and are independent of the modulation bandwidth. It is ideally suited to the average power measurement of multi- tone and spread spectrum signals such as CDMA, W- CDMA and digital television formats. The Agilent E9301A power sensor is NOT compatible with the earlier Agilent 430- Series, Agilent E1416A, or Agilent 70100A power meters. It is compatible ONLY with the Agilent EPM series power meters. Also, not all Agilent EPM series power meters are immediately compatible - your power meter must use firmware and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) code from a specific release onwards. Specifications. Frequency Range: 10 MHz to 6.0 GHz. Connector Type: Type - N (Male) 50 ohm. Maximum SWR (25 °C ± 10 °C): 1.15 (10 MHz to 30 MHz), 1.13 (30 MHz to 2 GHz), 1.19 (2 GHz to 6 GHz). Maximum Power: +25 dBm (320 mW) average, +33 dBm peak (2 W) <10 µs.

Pricing does include NIST traceable calibration and issue of a calibration certificate and calibration label. Pricing may vary slightly due to volume and location of laboratory supporting calibration. Volume pricing may apply. On-site fees may apply depending on logistics, location and volume of work to be completed during the visit.

dBc
dBc (decibels relative to the carrier) is the power ratio of a signal to a carrier signal, expressed in decibels. If the dBc figure is positive, then the relative signal strength is greater than the carrier signal strength. If the dBc figure is negative, then the relative signal strength is less than carrier signal strength.

Noise Density
Noise Density is the amount of noise within a defined bandwidth, usually normalized to 1 Hz.

Spurious Signals
Spurious signals are undesired signals. They can be considered in two classes. They can be stationary; their frequency and amplitude do not change significantly, or non-stationary, where the frequency and/or amplitude change significantly over short time periods.
